Health Insurance Associates is a three-generation independent insurance agency that has been serving clients across Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky for 50 years. Dennis Renner started in the insurance industry in 1974 “just to get a paycheck” never imagining that he was continuing a career path for generations to come. Dennis’ father Everett Renner was a P&C agent for much of his life in Mount Carmel, IL. In the mid 80’s, Dennis settled his family in his hometown of Mount Carmel, IL bringing Senior Life and Health insurance to the Southern Illinois area. Dennis will be the first to tell you how much he loves his job and has shared his strong work ethic with 2 of his 4 kids.
Renner Insurance Group in collaboration with Health Insurance Associates, INC was started in 2023 by Dennis’ children. David Renner and Brigitte Renner-Ruth wanted to get back to those original insurance roots by adding Property & Casualty back to the Renner family business. Being the 3rd generation to service our clients in the surrounding counties in Illinois & Indiana.
